DC Mediation & Dispute Resolution Institute seeks to attract a diverse mediator panel that reflects the community it serves. To that end, there are two tracks to become a mediator with DC Mediation & Dispute Resolution Institute:

After completing our basic mediation training & certification programs. Trainings are offered on a rolling basis. Register for the training here
Through an open enrollment process, it is available to only highly qualified mediators (on a rolling basis).

FEES AND COMPENSATION

At DC Mediation and Dispute Resolution Institute, we believe that finances should never hinder access to a just resolution. Hence, we have structured our fee system to ensure fairness and affordability. Our mediation services are priced slightly below the market rate at $250 per party for a two-hour session, with the fee divided equally among the parties. We retain only 25% of this, and the remaining 75% goes directly to the mediators, ensuring fair compensation for their invaluable expertise.
